Usually saving the more valuable loads for new school clothes and Christmas gifts for his children. After retirement Clenton kept busy working for a while as caretaker of the Shortstop Car Wash and as a collector. He loved visiting yard and estate sales looking for old tools and other older items to add to his collection.
