Wiley Rogers, born in Jason, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at 10:20PM on January 18, 2017.

Visitation, Rosary, and funeral services will take place at Kimble Funeral Home. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Sunday January 22nd from 4-6PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 23 at 1PM.

Wiley Rogers was born on June 11, 1929, his name given at birth was Guatalupano Rojas. He was preceded in death by his mother Torivia Rojas, father Francisco Rojas, daughter Yolanda Rojas, and son Guadalupe Rojas JR. He was survived by his two brothers Jesse Rojas and Steve Rojas, son Roy Rogers, daughters Lupe Linda Uribe, RosaMaria Anna Rojas, Tillie Velasquez and Viola Pigfen. Blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren his spirit will continue to live and thrive.

Wiley was also known by his nickname Magew. He spent the majority of his years in Junction, Texas and the surrounding Hill Country. He was proud of his American Indian heritage. He was certain to call your bluff in a hand of poker, and was happiest reeling in a large catfish on the banks of the Llano River. His final resting place will be at the Little Mexico Cemetery in Junction. Should anyone ask, he is gone fishing.
