Wesley Mark Rowe

Wesley Mark Rowe, age 71, of Junction, Texas, passed away on March 24, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 23, 1953 in San Angelo, Texas.  A pillar of his family, Wesley was a simple man who cherished playing his guitar and singing for his loved ones. He found joy in dancing with his wife, Martha; daughter, Ashley and granddaughters. Wesley was a devoted supporter of his family's endeavors, whether it was sports, band, cheerleading, or 4H activities. Survived by the love of his life Martha Gene, they were blessed with forty-seven wonderful years together; his son, Sonny Rowe and spouse Christin; granddaughter, Kylen Rowe; great-granddaughters, Blakely and Brielle; son, Wesley Gene Rowe and spouse Brittany; grandkids, Warren and Whitlea; daughter, Ashley Tomlinson and her husband Sakota; granddaughter, Raylee Bell. Wesley will be dearly missed. He is also survived by his brother, Wendall and his spouse Hope; and his sister, Sherran and her spouse Donnie Giestmann. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Lorene Rowe. 

Wesley graduated from Iraan High School in 1971 and attended Abilene Christian University for two years. He was a proud business owner in the Junction area since the age of 24, owning establishments such as Junction Restaurant, the old Gulf gas station, Rowe’s Chevron, and Gene’s Go Truck stop. A member of the College Street Church of Christ, Wesley found solace and community in his faith. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, raising goats, and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. 

A private gathering for family will be held in memory of Wesley. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kimble County Meals on Wheels and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
