Wanda Whitworth

BRACKETVILLE Wanda Thomas Whitworth, 88, of Brackettville, Texas passed from this life on August 31, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1925 in Winters, Texas to Jack Thomas and Thelma Knox Edwards Thomas.

Wanda married William Bill Whitworth on September 4, 1943. She was a ranching housewife in Spofford and Brackettville, Texas. She participated in school activities with her children including sports and PTA. She also worked with the Cancer Society. She was a Mom.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents husband, Bill Whitworth and sons, Mark Evans Whitworth and Jack Walton Bubba Whitworth.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her daughter, Claudia Sue Shanklin and husband Sam of Rocksprings sisterinlaw, Patricia Borland numerous nieces and nephews many friends, and her caregivers who were angels, Maria Hernandez and Leticia Letty Rivas.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Junction City Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Lafrenze officiating.

Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
