Wanda was born March 17, 1927 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Otsie Medlin. She was the oldest of 6 children, now all deceased.

Those left to honor her memory include a daughter, Phyllis Catoe of Austin; sons, Greg and wife Stephanie of Georgetown, Larry and wife Verna of Humble; daughter-in-law, Diane of Lone Oak, Arkansas. She had 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren that gave her hours of love and entertainment as she watched them grow.
Wanda was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, from her hometown of Cordell, Oklahoma to various cities during Buck's time in the Air Force, their longtime home in Pasadena, a retirement home on Lake Toledo Bend, and their final 25 plus years living in Junction.
Wanda and Buck made an incredible amount of friends during their life's journeys. Wanda loved cooking, but making quilts and other sewing crafts were her favorite hobby. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and wonderful friends.
