Walter "Uncle Took" L. Krustchinsky, 70, passed away on April 26, 2017, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on August 16, 1946 in Conroe, TX to Walter Krustchinsky and Marie Williamson.

Walter began his career in road construction and helped build I-10 through Junction and later became a commercial electrician. He owned horses and donkeys and was proud of the responsibility that came with taking care of the animals and spending time in the barn. He was a member of the London Church of Christ. At one time he had a regular column about London in the Junction Eagle. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War while being enlisted in the United States Navy. Walter was a long time resident of Kimble County and London, he later moved to Cuero in 1995 and then relocated to Aransas Pass with his family in 2004 where he remained until his death.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Krustchinsky; mother, Marie (Williamson) Amaon, step-father, Jack Amaon; and sister Gayle Amaon.

Those left to cherish his memory are brother, Steve Amaon and wife Vikki; niece, Amy Marie Amaon; nephews, Blake Valentine and Alan Amaon and numerous cousins.
