Virginia Duwe

Virginia Kay Duwe also known as Kay, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Junction, TX. She was born Virginia Kay Hawkins on March 10, 1943 in Pilot Point, TX to Louis W. Hawkins and Rheba Manry.
Kay started her adult life when she married Jack McKinney in Bandera, TX. Later in life, she married Don Duwe until his death. She worked many years as a Ranch Manager. The end of her life came full circle when she moved back to the Texas Hill Country.

Kay is survived by her children Mayris Karen Alsip/Kitty and Gregory Glenn McKinney and his wife Lorraine McKinney and 3 grandchildren: Megan Nicole Rhodes, Dakota Rae McKinney, and Shelby Lynn McKinney. Also survived by Carla Spracio, a dear friend who became family.

Kay lived life to the fullest. She was caring and giving and friendly. She never met a stranger! She lived a simple country life where her passion for gardening came from. Kay will be greatly missed by friends, family, and all who knew her.
