Thomas Jacoby

Thomas Philip Jacoby, 88, went home to heaven early in the morning of October 6, 2018 with his sons by his side. Visitation will be held at Kimble Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Private burial will be at the family ranch Wednesday morning, October 10, and the memorial service will be held at the College Street Church of Christ Wednesday, October 10 at 2:00 pm.

Philip is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Letha Jacoby; his loving wife of 67 years, Lynn; and his brother Henry Ray Jacoby.

He is survived by sons, Mark Jacoby and his wife Kim of Ft. Worth, TX, Scott Jacoby and his wife Diane of Sonora, TX; grandchildren, Katie Stutler and her husband Mark; Brenda Andress and her husband Aaron; Jason Jacoby; Tom Jacoby and his wife Kacci; great grandchildren, Mati Stutler, Zeke Stutler, Gage Jacoby, Levi Jacoby and Marlee Stutler; and brother, William Roy Jacoby and wife Ann.

Philip was born February 28, 1930 to Tom and Letha Jacoby. He graduated from Junction High School. On June 2, 1949 Philip married Lynn, his high school sweetheart.

Philip ranched in Kimble and Sutton Counties all his life and was a true stockman. He also served on numerous boards including Sutton County Commissioner, College Street Church of Christ Elder, and Pedernales Electric Coop Board of Directors. Philip never met a stranger and loved visiting with people.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason and Tom Jacoby, Mark Stutler, Aaron Andress, Bonner Cardwell, Bundy Cardwell and Bill Cardwell.
