Thelma Kinnard

Thelma Mae Kinnard, 93, of Junction, TX passed from this life on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at a care facility in Kerrville.

Thelma was born July 31, 1925, to Herbert Brite and Alta Paul in Keyes Oklahoma. She spent her early childhood living in Keyes and in 1937 her family moved to Junction where she later met her husband Frank. Thelma married Frank Kinnard, May 23, 1942. They spent their lives together and raised their children in Junction.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kinnard; brothers, Charlie, Hudson, Earl D., and Stanley Brite; sister, Muriel Forth; and granddaughter, Ashley Couey.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Sandra Kinnard and Cathy Couey (Len); granddaughter, Brooke Dorman (Troy); four great-grandchildren, Clara, Aubree, Brynn and Everett Dorman; and one nephew, Ronnie Forth.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Kimble Funeral Home, 1010 College Street ,Junction, TX 76849. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM prior to services. Interment will follow at Junction City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels, the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.

Thelma's family would like to thank the nursing staff of B Wing at Hilltop Village in Kerrville; Alamo Hospice, especially her hospice nurse ''Ronnie", for the loving care they gave to our Mother; and a special thank you to her roommate, Jeane, for her unfaltering devotion to Mom.
