Samuel Thomas Carlile, 45, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on Friday, August 8, 2014 at San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio.

Samuel was born April 10, 1969 in Junction, and grew up around the Hill Country in places such as, Junction, Kerrville, San Angelo, and Lake Buchanan. In February 1994, he moved to South Texas where he met his future wife, Cindy Lynn Cox. He brought her back to Junction and promptly married her on July 18, 1994. They have three children, son, Samuel Christopher born October 7, 1995 son, Derek Thomas born January 15, 1998 and daughter, Jessica born September 14, 2004. Samuel was a hard worker, sometimes working three jobs, and supported his wife through nursing school working 67 days a week. Samuel had many interests including working on, selling, and trading classic hot rod trucks, and fishing and camping with family and friends. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, BSing, washer pitching, and drinking beer. He liked to barbeque, and could cook all kinds of foods on the grill. He was a collector of guns and later different kinds of knives which included his favorite custom Jerry Powers knives. Samuel loved his wife and family fiercely, and had many lifelong friends. They will all miss him dearly.

Samuel is preceded in death by friends, Tom Brown, James Nixon, and Fred Hodges.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife of 20 years, Cindy sons, Samuel Christopher and Derek Thomas daughter, Jessica little sister, Leanne Green and nephew, Koe Patton all of Junction motherinlaw, Mollie Cox of Beeville and sisterinlaw, Jimmie Sue Reinhard of Stephenville.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel.
