Ruby Sheppard

Ruby Whitworth Sheppard, 100, of Junction, Texas, passed from this life on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Junction.  Ruby was born July 29, 1920, the 12th child of Will Whitworth and Mame Rogers in Junction Texas.  Ruby was an educated accomplished woman who led a full life serving her family, community and country during WWII. She married Keidel Sheppard on June 7, 1946.  She was also a life-long member of the Methodist Church. A few of her passions were good bridge games with friends, knitting, crossword puzzles and reading voraciously.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Keidel Sheppard and her sons, Bill Sheppard in 1972 and Tom Sheppard in 1995.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include, Milly Sheppard, Sammy and  Carol Persephone Sotero, Tommy Sotero, Danny Sotero, Rodney and Iris Ray, Kevin and Sissy  Floss, Bryan and Carissa Sheppard, Cara Sheppard, Corbin Sheppard ,Colton Sheppard, Chrystal Sheppard and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-5PM on Monday, November 02, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at Junction City Cemetery, with Phill Stapp and Bryan Sheppard officiating.
