Robbie Vickery

Robbie Omega (Jasper) Vickery, 91, of Junction passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

Robbie was born in Cleveland, Texas on August 13, 1926, to Robert C. Jasper and Mattie Wells of Cleveland. Robbie graduated from Cleveland High School and attended Nursing School prior marrying her loving husband of 59 years, Lewis Eugene Vickery of Sheppard, Texas in 1945.

She was a beloved member of her community and a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She committed her life to her husband and children, raising her family by her husband's side while he attended Texas A&M University and throughout his career as a High School agriculture teacher. They raised 3 children, Rhonda, Cheryl and Larry, first in Bandera and subsequently in Junction and Darrouzett, Texas before retiring back in Junction on the beautiful South Llano River.

Robbie is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis and daughter, Rhonda Eagle of Frisco.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Moore of Enterprise, Alabama; son, Larry of San Antonio; and sister, Roberta Burchfield of Leakey, Texas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 16 2018 at the Kimble Funeral Home with interment immediately following at the Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Kimble Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15th.

Pallbearers will be Robert and David Moore, Brad Eagle, Joe Peebles, Kevin Looney, Jason Boyett and Richard Conway.
