Paul Garrett Murr, born and raised in Junction, joined his son, Henry Murr and his parents, Aldie & Pauline Murr in Heaven on September 23rd, 2017.

Paul Garrett led an active life spanning numerous locales from Texas, Montana and beyond. He served his country in the US Air Force for four years. Other adventures encompassed ranching, railroading, trucking, hunting, boating and much more.

He leaves a loving family including his wife of 60 years, Ja Nell Skelton Murr, a son, Paul G. Murr, Jr. and wife Tracy. Four daughters, Lissa McNew and husband Jackie, Theresa Davis and husband Marvin, Krissa Puckett and husband Jon, Janella Hester and husband Jim, a brother-in-law, Ralph "Butch" Skelton and wife Gail, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, September 26, 2017 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Allen officiating.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Zackry McNew, Larry McNew, Trey Murr, Tara Murr, Jesse Davis, Valerie Burns, Cliff Burns, Preston Conoly, JD Puckett, and Jordyn Castleberry.

Honorary Pallbearers are Rob Roy Spiller, Troy Shannon, Bill Harrison, Bo Hutto, Butch Skelton, Zeke Bradford, and Jake Puckett.
