Patsie Lee Baugh Johnston 81, of Junction passed away from this life on September 6, 2023.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM September 11, 2023 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel.

Patsie was born August 15, 1942, in Kerrville, TX to Verree Westbrook and J L Baugh.  She graduated from Junction High School in 1960.  She attended San Angelo Jr college, University of Phoenix, and George Washington University.  Patsie obtained the curve bar ranking herself as Gold Award Girl Scout. Patsie was a member of the DAR, First Families of Texas, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Former Texas Rangers, and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Her love of music began in 4th grade, with the starting of band.  That love led her to drum majorette for the Junction Eagle band and head twirler at San Angelo Jr College.

Patsie worked for AT&T for 33 years and loved every minute of it.  The last 3 years she taught diversity; this becoming very dear to her heart.  With AT&T, she traveled the US.  In her last 3 years of employment, she located to Reno, NV.  Here she was given a love for Reno and Lake Tahoe.

Upon retirement, she came home to Junction to care for her parents who passed 2 years later, within 10 months of each other.  After their deaths, she found she had too much free time and went to work for Farm Bureau for 22 years before retiring once again.

Patsie was preceded in death by her parents Verree and J L Baugh, Brother Jimmy Baugh and Sister Virginia (Ginger) Baugh.

Those left to cherish her memory include her grandson, Patrick Cody Johnston; granddaughters, Tia and Chy;  sister-in-law, Jeri Baugh; niece, Jody Baugh and son Heath Baugh; niece, Jayme Jendrusch and husband Doug and their children Kevin and Kynzie; nephew, Jim Ed Baugh and wife Katy; sister, Cherry Hodges; brother, Joe David Baugh; 2 favorite cousins, Judy Murr from the Westbrook family and Rheba Wall Massey from the Baugh family; daughter, Tambra Baker; and lifelong friends, Joanna Laake, Margaret Handy, and Diane Woodward.
