Onita Brooke Ramon

Onita Brooke Ramon, daughter of Teresa Green and Jason Carlile and wife of Mitchell Ramon was born February 3, 1998 in Fredericksburg TX. Brooke passed peacefully on 2/20/22  at 8:45 pm at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston TX. Surrounded by the ones she loved most.   

  Brooke’s life was short, but she made a big impact on people in her life. She was raised in Junction, TX.  Spending her entire life battling Cystic Fibrosis but never let her disease control her. Brooke loved her family and friends more than anything and always dreamed of having a family of her own. 

   In 2017 Brooke married the love of her life, Mitchell Ramon and they opened their pizza trailer "Papi's Pizza ". In 2019 they took over "The Little Store" in Junction. Brooke loved all of her customers/kids at the Little Store, and talked to everyone like she had known them forever ( no one was ever a stranger). She left everyone with a smile on their face.  Brooke had a smile and heart that made her one of a kind. Her smile could brighten the darkest room, her laugh and her positive energy were contagious. She enjoyed to cook, try new foods and restaurants, sing on Karaoke night, go on road trips, spend time with her dogs Jack and Steve,  talk on the phone with all of her family members that live out of town, and most of all she cherished every moment she had with her little family. 

   Brooke has always accepted that one day her time would come short so she tried to live every day like it might be her last. She fought hard her entire life to make sure her goals were accomplished.  Right after her son Logan was born, Brooke said " if anything were to happen to me I am thankful that a little piece of me is left behind for everyone ". Family was her everything.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her spouse, Mitchell Alexander Ramon; child, Logan Alexander Ramon; siblings, Tristan Carlile,  Brooklynn Carlile,  Witten Carlile; grandparents, Pat Green, Mike Green, Patricia Carlile, and Jean Gonzales. 

Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel.
