Our beloved Nina Mae (Timms) Gentry, 79, of Junction, Texas went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26, 2026.

Nina was born in 1946 to Edgar Lee Timms and Frankie Welton (Miller) Timms (both deceased) in Roosevelt, Texas, and moved to Junction, Texas in 1955. Nina Married Thomas Luther Gentry (Deceased) in 1962. They had no children but loved dozens of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces as their own. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy; sisters, Doris, Wilma Faye, and Mary Alice; and her brothers, Edgar Wayne (Nick), Danny, James, Sherman, Benjamin, and Bert. Nina’s sister, Alma Young lives in Junction.

Nina was truly the matriarch of the Timms family for many years. She and Tommy always looked after her family, often opening her home up for sleepovers, get-togethers, etc. She was a member of Junction Full Gospel Church for many years and worked as a custodian at the Junction School until she retired.

Her impact on the community and family was immeasurable, and her loss so unexpected. Please keep Nina and her entire family in prayers.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Kimble Funeral Home, 1010 College Street, Junction, Texas. The funeral service will be held at Kimble Funeral Home 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Interment will follow at Junction City Cemetery.
