Junction Minnie Alice Warden, 63, of Junction, TX, passed from this life on February 1, 2011 at her residence.

Born on February 28, 1948, she was the daughter of Joe and Tressie Nelson Rogers Rotge and Eli Rogers. She had lived in Junction area for the biggest part of her life.

On May 7, 1966, Minnie married the love of her life, Tom Warden in Midway, TX. She was a homemaker, but first and foremost, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother. Minnie was a nurses aid, and had worked at the Kimble Hospital for many years. She was a loving, caring person who was loved and cherished by all those who knew her.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Tressie Rotge and Eli Rogers brother and sisterinlaw, Kenny and Retha Rogers.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Tom Warden of Junction, TX son, Lee Warden and wife Kary of Junction, TX daughters, Mickey Atkins and husband Frank, and Lisa Warden all of Junction, TX six grandchildren, Nathanel Warden and wife, Chelsi, Mariah and Orion Warden, Thomas Atkins, and Megan and Jenny Phillips five brothers, Robert Rogers and wife Jewel, Mitch Pullin, Buff Beam and wife Kay, Jay Rotge and wife Theresa, and Ray Rotge and wife Anna, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.

A celebration of her life will be held in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, 902 Main Street, Junction, TX, on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2 PM with the Rev. Steve Fieldcamp officiating.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests that memorials be made to Odyssey Hospice, Cancer Centers of South Texas, or the charity of ones choice.
