Michael Noel Gonzales, 21, of Junction, passed away on October 25, 2021 at a hospital in San Antonio.
Michael was born December 18, 1999 in Kerrville. He was a graduate of Junction High School, Class of 2018. Michael enjoyed travelling. He also loved Marvel movies, but his all-time favorite superhero was The Incredible Hulk. Anyone who ever met Michael instantly fell in love with him. He had a very silly personality and sense of humor that would make everyone laugh. He was very silly in his own special way. He was always a happy person and so loving. He enjoyed hugs from anyone and everyone, especially police officers, firemen, or military. He would worry about others rather than himself. He was like magic, when someone was having a bad day, he would make them feel better. During Michael’s last moments his nurse asked him if he had a best friend, he responded “My dad is my best friend.” Although he will be missed dearly, he will never be forgotten. Everybody loves you Mikey!
Michael is preceded in death by his two brothers, Adam Castillo and Ruben Gonzales, Jr.; and uncles, Adam Castillo, Daniel Barrera, and Damian Telles.
Those who will treasure his memory include his parents, Ruben and Patricia Gonzales; sisters, Samantha Gonzales, Megan Castillo, and Elaine Leonard; grandmother, Berta Vera and husband; and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.
