Marie Davee

Marie Davee, 89, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on April 30, 2013 at a local care facility.

Marie was born June 26, 1923 to Sterling and Ila Ray Whetstone Reese. She was valedictorian of the Harper High School class of 1941. She resided in Harper for many years. In the late 1980s, Marie retired from Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville. She enjoyed cooking and was a blue ribbon winner for her cakes and pies. Her hobbies included gardening and fishing.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her son, Ernest Whiteley and wife Nancy of Junction granddaughters, Cheryl Turner of Ft. Worth, Terri Behrens of Kansas City, KS grandson, Richard Orinderff of Houston five great grandchildren and aunt, Mary Dodd of Big Spring.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Noxville Cemetery in Kimble County with Tony Gauna officiating.
