Manuel Arango

Manuel de Jesus Arango, Jr., 53, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2019 in Del Rio, Texas.

Manuel was born September 2, 1966 to Manuel, Sr. and Santos (Fernandez) Arango in Uvalde, Texas. Manuel grew up in Junction where he liked to cruise down Main Street. In his younger years he worked with his dad cutting cedar. He married Lucy Garcia on September 5, 1998 in Corpus Christi. In his adult life, Manuel worked in construction all over the United States. He loved building things and built his own family home in Orange Grove. Manuel loved to help people, loved everyone, and spent as much time with his family as possible.

Manuel is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Filandro, Sr. and Carmen Arango; and maternal grandparents, Alejandro, Sr. and Angelita Fernandez.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Lucy Arango; mother, Santos Arango; sister, Maria Leti Arango; step-children, Christopher, Angel, and Andy Garcia; children, Trini, Brenda, and Alex Arango; half-sister, Bertha Emiliano; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home with Pastor Vicente Tamez officiating. Interment will follow at Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5-7:00PM, Wednesday at Kimble Funeral Home.
