Lloyd Low

June 11, 1948 — October 10, 2020

Lloyd Low

Lloyd Low passed away in the early morning of October 10, 2020.  He was born June 11,1948 in San Angelo, Texas to Clyde and Madie Lee Low.  He married his childhood sweetheart Connie Sue (Adams) Low on December 24, 1966 in Junction, Texas.

Lloyd lived a life in service to God, his family and his country. He was loved by many and his physical presence will be missed.  From a very early age until his death Lloyd fulfilled his mission as a servant of God.  This journey officially began at Preston Road Seminary School in Dallas, Texas and led him to missionary work in Canada for almost 20 years before returning to his home town of Junction, Texas to finish the journey.   He lived by the motto from 1st Corinthians 13: 4-8 that can be summed up in two words...love people.  Lloyd loved people.  As a veteran of the Vietnam war he was a patriotic man who  had a strong commitment to helping veterans like himself.  He spent much of his time listening, counseling and having conversations to help them overcome challenges that are often a result of time spent in service to our country.

Lloyd had a love of sailing, the ocean and scuba diving. Many joyful moments were spent enjoying these activities.  However, soon something more important came along, grandchildren.  More than anything Lloyd loved being a Papa.  He shared many precious moments with his grandchildren, reading, playing games and sharing lessons from a life well lived.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Connie Sue (Adams) Low, daughters Georgee L. Low of Vancouver, BC Canada,  Julie L. Low of Powell River, BC, Canada.   Grandchildren, Daienara Low, Jacob O'Reilly, Devyn O'Reilly, Kenedee Low,  and Kadence Low.  Two sisters, Janice Guthrie (Lonnie) of Katy, Texas and Debbie Rodgers of Junction, Texas, Brother-in-law Gary Adams and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A virtual celebration of life was held on October 17, 2020.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to continue his work under the Lloyd Low Bible Institute by sending donations in memory of Lloyd Low  payable to Hope Springs International, 2100 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, Tennessee 37066.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home. (325) 446-3076
