In Loving Memory of Lisa Jayne Manion
Lisa Jayne Manion, age 59, of Junction, Texas, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 17, 2026, in San Angelo, Texas. Lisa was born on December 11, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, to Thomas and Kathy Henderson Manion, she was their only child.
Lisa spent her childhood in Junction, Texas, where she would eventually return and make her home. She was a loving mother to her three children, Tasha, Kayla, and Juan Guajardo III. To countless people, Lisa was simply “Mama Lisa.” She was known for opening her home to her children’s friends, cooking enough food to feed an army, talking for hours on the phone, telling stories from years gone by, and she also had a special love for the TV show Roseanne and could watch the same episodes over and over again. Lisa was a talented beautician who loved cutting hair and watching a transformation unfold right before her eyes. She loved having a hand in helping someone see themselves in a new way and feel good about who they were. Cutting hair was something that came naturally to Lisa, and she truly had a gift for it.
Lisa was a Christian woman who loved Jesus. She was loving, strong-willed, stubborn, funny, independent, and wonderfully unforgettable. Her life held beautiful memories and those who knew her will remember the many ways she touched their lives. Lisa is survived by her mother Kathy Henderson Manion; her three children, Tasha Parsons and husband Bret, Kayla Muñiz and husband Manuel, and Juan Guajardo III and wife Kaylee; her nine grandchildren; extended family; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and four grandchildren.
She will forever be remembered as Mama Lisa—for her big heart, her full kitchen, her stories, her strong personality, and the love she gave in her own unmistakable way.
May she rest peacefully in God's loving arms, surrounded by the eternal love and grace of her Savior, where pain and suffering are no more.
At the family's request, services will be held privately with immediate family. The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time and asks that their privacy be respected as they grieve.
