Linda "Kathy" Newman

Linda “Kathy” Kathleen Newman,68, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, November 13,2022 in Fredericksburg. She was born on February 8,1954 in Kerrville, Texas to William and Joyce Jenkins Phillips.

Kathy graduated from Camp Wood High School and attended college where she studied to become a licensed vocational nurse and dental technician. She married David A. Newman on June 11,1984. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and crafting. Kathy was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, William and Joyce Phillips.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include husband, David Allen Newman of Junction, Texas; brother, Russell Phillips and wife, Myndee of Barksdale, Texas; daughters, Melody Plumley and husband, Carter of Junction, Texas and Melissa Newman and husband, Michael of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughters, Baylee Plumley and Angelina Ashby; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17,2022 from 5-7PM at Kimble Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will take place at 1PM on Friday, November 18,2022 at Junction City Cemetery.
