Lewis Budd Fisher, 81, of Junction, passed away on June 14, 2014 in Kerrville, TX.
Memorial services were held at Kimble Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, June 18, 2014 with Rev. Ken Bolton officiating. Lewis will be given military honors at a service to take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio in the weeks to follow.
Lewis was born on May 31, 1933 in Sioux City, Iowa to Arthur Frederick Fisher and Ann Hayden. He entered the U.S. Air Force at age twenty and served for twenty years. During his time of service he was a navigator delivering supplies to troops and returning fallen soldiers in the Korean and Vietnam wars. While serving in the military he lived in Delaware, Massachusetts, California, and retired in Texas. He enjoyed bowling, golf, telling stories, and satisfying his sweet tooth. Lewis was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable man. He will be dearly missed.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents.
Lewis is survived by his daughters, Kelly Fisher and husband Joe Ballard of Austin, and Alyson Fisher of Arlington stepsons, Bobby Moore and wife Cammie of Abilene, and Ricky Moore and wife Lacey of Seminole stepdaughters, Rebecca Dominguez and husband Jesse of Junction, and Sandra Van Winkle and husband Michael of Junction, fourteen grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren, and special caregivers and friends, Lillie and Alton Russell and Josh Maples.
