MENARD Joyce Marie Freeman, 65, of Menard, Texas passed from this life on November 3, 2013 at her residence.

Joyce was born September 16, 1948 in Bonham, Texas to Jack William and Alta Marie Gilbreath Johnson. She graduated from Menard High School class of 1968.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her husband, Samuel Curtis Freeman children, Lovie Adams and husband Chad of Fritch, and Amy Wilson and husband Billy of Trenton grandchildren, Dustie Freeman of San Saba, Stormie Freeman of San Saba, Dixie Adams of Fritch, Sophie Adams of Fritch, Kyle Malone of Trenton, Samantha Freeman of Trenton, and Leah Good of Trenton greatgrandchild, Billy Garner III of San Saba brothers and sisters, Tony Johnson and wife Cathy of Christoval, David Johnson of Menard, Margaret Beyer of Menard, Donnie Johnson of San Angelo, and Terry Johnson of Menard aunts, Velma Adams and husband Wesley of Winchell, and Lorene Clouse and husband Odell of Mesquite brothers and sistersinlaw, Charles Freeman and wife Louise of Sherman, Martha Blagburn of Copeville Peggy Grant and husband David of Copeville, Harold Freeman of Concord, CA and Dan Freeman and wife Gerildean of Colfax, CA along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
