Jose Cruz

Jose De La Cruz, 82, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on August 23, 2012 at a local care facility.

Jose was born March 7, 1930 in Juarez, Coahuila, Mexico. He married his love, Rosalinda De Leon in March of 1949. Together they were blessed with twelve children. He was a member of the Goodwill Baptist church in Junction. Jose had a genuine work ethic as a rancher who loved being in the outdoors. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be remembered with love.

Jose is preceded in death by a daughter, Norma De La Cruz and a grandson, Joey Zapata.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 63 years, Rosalinda De La Cruz children, Jose Manuel De La Cruz of Stephenville Rosa Esquivel of Junction Juan De La Cruz of Mexico Evanjelina De La Cruz of Mexico Victor De La Cruz of Mexico Nohemy De La Cruz of Dallas Ruben De La Cruz of Mexico Efrain De La Cruz of Mexico Aida De La Cruz of Rotan Eloida De La Cruz of Mexico and Timothy Reyes of NC brothers sisters and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nephews and nieces.

ation will be 1:00 3:00 Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Kimble Funeral Home. Services will follow in Acua, Mexico with interment in Jardin de Amistad Eterna.
