John Carroll

John Wayne Carroll, Sr., 80, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on June 6, 2015 in Kerrville, Texas. John was born March 10, 1935 in Adamsville, Texas to Luther Elmer and Minnie Mae (Cadell) Carroll.

John was raised in Junction. He married Glenda Mae St.Clair on December 31, 1980.

John worked his entire life, and was always going and doing. When he wasn't working he loved spending time with his family. He loved to relax, tell jokes, and enjoyed fishing.

John is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, and son, Walter Grady Carroll.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Glenda Carroll; children, John Wayne Carroll, Jr., Charles Owen (Angela), Arvel Wayne Carroll (LeAnn), Ollie Buford Carroll (Patricia), Joseph Paul Carroll (Kerry), Dana Munoz, Larissa Dee Melton (Linda Green), Jayleen Nicole Cochran (Eugene); numerous grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R.A. Evans, Sr., Pastor Kenneth Plumley, and Pastor Alice Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Kimble Funeral Home.
