Jimmie Eugene Drinkard, 72, of Junction passed from this life on July 7, 2026 in Junction. Jimmie was born July 12, 1953 in Oklahoma and was raised by his parents, Jake Templin and Ruby Jean Ford.

Jimmie was a skilled mechanic who graduated with certification from Cleveland State Community College. He loved his family and enjoyed the holidays when they could be together. He was a jokester, who liked to make others laugh. He had a great respect for the outdoors and was at home when he was out in nature. Most of all, he loved God, and sharing and studying the Word of God.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his father, Robert Jake Templin; mother, Ruby Jean Ford Templin; brothers, Wesley Drinkard, Doug Templin, and Walter Ford; sister, Marsha Perez; grandmother, Lillie Bell Ford; and nephews, Matthew Ford, Robert Arthur Clay Allen.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Ronald Lee Drinkard of Texarkana, AR; sisters, Priscilla Campbell and husband Bobby of Rochelle; Margie Brady of Harker Heights, Angel Templin of Abilene; and brother, Ray Templin and wife Michelle of Sioux City, Iowa; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be announced in the near future.
