Homalie Clark Bullard

Homalie Clark Bullard, who led a life of generosity and devotion, passed peacefully on September 13, 2025, at Kimble Hospital in Junction, Texas, just days shy of her 95th birthday. She was born on September 18,1930 in Runnels County, near Miles, Texas, and was a graduate of Bronte High School, where she was Valedictorian of the Class of 1948. She pursued her education at Angelo State University before graduating from the University of Texas in Austin in 1956.

Following graduation, Homalie taught school in Lubbock, Texas. After marrying her beloved husband, Brad Bullard, they moved to Corpus Christi where she continued teaching. Later she would go on to use her skills in bookkeeping for the family furniture business.  Homalie and Brad were married for 62 years, and she was a wonderful mother who was dedicated to her children and supported them fully. She adored her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them, offering them her wisdom and encouragement.

Homalie had a steadfast faith and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ throughout her life. For more than 70 years, Homalie faithfully taught Sunday school. She was an active member of the church choir, and she often played piano in church as needed. She was a member of London Baptist Church where she continued to serve the Lord until her final days. She was a fervent prayer warrior, and was generous and sought to meet the needs of others whenever she could.

Homalie is survived by her husband: Bradford Jaudon Bullard. Her children, son, Noel Bullard and wife Mary; daughters, Reva Jaudon Davis and husband Michael, and Terri Bullard Schneer and husband Kenneth. Grandchildren, Rene Frederick, Edgar Scott Tatum, Crystalie Jeanette Reynolds, Shaunna Lyn Tatum, Kyna Noelle Bullard, Rebecca Noelle Davis, and Carson Mitt Bullard. Great-grandchildren, Alexander Thomas Tatum, Austin Glen Richard, McKenzie Lyn Reynolds, Spencer Stevens, Seth Stevens, and Tatum Stamper. Sister, Jimaileen Jenson; along with many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Reva Stinebaugh Clark; her father, Homer Clark; her brother, Eugene Clark; her sisters, Mary Francis Lowery, Dorothy Clark, and Ida Ruth Armstrong; along with her son, Edgar Clark Tatum, and daughter, Janis Bullard Pell.

A funeral service will be held in her honor on September 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at London Baptist Church in London, Texas, with Pastor Bill Ragsdale officiating. Family and friends are invited to celebrate a life well-lived.

Pallbearers are Phillip Hernandez, Brian Jeter, Mark Kirkpatrick, Ray Merrill, Miles Sepeda, and Larry Trimble.  Honorary Pallbearers are H. Gordy, Raymond Newton, Rick Novotny, and Benny Richardson.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the Salvation Army.
