Hernando Adrian Abilez, Sr.

Services for Hernando Adrian Abilez Sr, 69 of San Antonio will be held June 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St.Theresa’s Catholic Church in Junction, Tx with burial to follow in Little Mexico Cemetery. Hernando A. Abilez (Nando) died August 26,2025 in a San Antonio Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 18,1956 in Junction,Tx to Jose and Mary Lydia Abilez. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his father Jose A. Abilez Sr., siblings Joe Jr. and wife Kathy from Belton, brother Chris and partner Aseneth Cruz from Killeen Tx, sister Rosemary and husband Doug Easley from Temple Tx, sister Suzanne and husband Gordon Doine from Killeen Tx, Additional survivors closest to his heart that he loved dearly include his children, son Adrian and wife Jennifer, son Brandon and daughter Kisha Nicole Abilez all from San Antonio, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Lydia and his son Micheal. 

Hernando’s passion for life and witty personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him. It’s with great sadness that we say goodbye. We take comfort in knowing our Lord’s promise of eternal life. Rest in peace, Nando
