Helen Valenzuela

Helen Valenzuela, 84, passed away at a local care facility on July 4, 2017. Helen was born August 18, 1932 in Junction to Procoro and Juanita Fuentes.

Helen often worked as a caregiver and assisted with the elderly in various ways. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and was an active member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.

Helen was married to Robert Raul Valenzuela who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Tony Prado and Robert Raul Valenzuela, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Gonzales; three sons, Ray Munguia, Harvey Munguia, and Jerry Munguia; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Father Mamachan Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in N.E. Junction Cemetery. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 PM, Friday at Kimble Funeral Home with visitation to follow.

Pallbearers will be Robert Valenzuela III, Fabian Valenzuela, Louis Gonzales, Jr., Alex Gonzales III, Leon Abrigo, and Carlos Valverde.
