Kerrville Harvel Wesley McNeill, 83, of London, Texas passed from this life at a care facility in Kerrville, TX on Friday, August 10, 2012.

Born on June 25, 1929, in Whitesboro, Texas he was the son of Charles and Lola McNeill. He married Iva Nell on February 14, 1999. Wes was a former resident of Washington State where he was member of the Masonic Lodge. He worked as a logger before becoming a heavy duty diesel mechanic. In 1994, Wes moved to London, TX where he was active in the community council and the volunteer fire department. Wes had a superior work ethic and was a man of his word that enjoyed staying busy and helping others whenever he could. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Mr. McNeill is preceded in death by his parents a sister, Hazel Thompson and his first wife, Joella McNeill.

Those who will continue to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Iva Nell McNeill of London daughter, Kathy Mason and husband Clarence quotSkipquot of Gig Harbor, WA sons, Mike McNeill and wife Randa of Rochester, WA, Jeff McNeill and wife, Tammy of Chehalis, WA, and Tim McNeill working in Qatar and wife, Melinda who lives overseas in the Philippines stepdaughter, Donna Stroud of London, TX ten grandchildren two greatgrandchildren and three nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Red Creek Cemetery in London, TX with Rev. Bob Schmeltekopf officiating.
