Gloria Espinosa

Gloria Esperanza Espinosa, of Austin, formerly of Junction, passed away from this life at the age of 65, on January 28, 2013 at a hospital in San Antonio after battling a long illness, which she fought bravely and courageously.

Gloria was born April 24, 1947 in Junction, Texas to Abigail and Martha Espinosa. Gloria spent her life helping others in her capacity as a licensed vocational nurse. She worked in various hospitals at the following locations Junction, Austin and Dallas. Glorias nurturing flair and generosity of her time that she dedicated to all of her nieces and nephews was greatly appreciated by them and many fond memories were created for each of them by their beloved aunt. She loved to watch football and baseball games on TV and when possible in person.

Gloria was preceded in death by both her parents sister, Herminia Espinosa, and brother, Joe Espinosa.

Those left to honor her memory include her sisters, Rosie De Los Santos of Kerrville, Maria Menchaca of Junction, Toni Castillo of Plainview, Juanita Menchaca and husband Rojelio of Austin and her brother Monty Espinosa of Kerrville. Gloria will be missed by all of her nieces, grandnieces, nephews, grandnephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will be holding a Memorial Service for Gloria Espinosa at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the St. Theresas Catholic Church with Father Albert Enzeamya as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the North East Junction Cemetery located on the outskirts of Junction. The family invites you to join them back at the St. Theresas Catholic Church Hall to celebrate their loving aunts memory over a meal and music.
