Frank Hatch, Jr.

June 26, 1965 — December 7, 2018

Frank Hatch, Jr.

Frank Lemuel Hatch, Jr. left this world December 7, 2018 at his home where he resided most of his life.

Frank was born June 26, 1965 in Junction Texas to Doris and Frank Hatch, Sr. He graduated from Junction High School class of 84', and took on a trade as a skilled carpenter where he worked for several years.

Frank was born with a green thumb, kept a beautiful vegetable garden, and spent many hours tending it. When not in his garden, he was often at his place on the South Llano River - AKA headquarters; where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and other "ranger" duties. Another passion was cooking, inherited from his parents, Frank, Sr. owned several successful restaurants in Austin, and mother, Doris was locally famous for her chicken-n-dumplings. Frank loved watching cooking shows, reading recipe books, and inventing recipes. His deer jerky won him several first place trophies, and he always placed in the cook-offs he entered.

Frank was a goofball, class clown, loved laughing, pranking people, telling jokes, and even producing and directing skits. He and his buddy, Jeff, had dreamed to someday record comedy tapes. Frank idolized John Wayne, dedicated two walls in his home to memorabilia, and loved his good old westerns. He also was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching Nascar. He often was mistaken for Tracey Lawrence or Alan Jackson, and occasionally signed autographs.

Frank had one child, daughter, Kayla Marie Hatch whom he loved more than anything in the world and taught her many life and survival skills. Many memories and life lessons were shared together on the South Llano River. On her 13th birthday, Frank gifted her with her great-grannies gun and taught her all about guns.

Frank would give you the shirt off his back - what's his /was yours.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Ragland and Jerry Ragland; uncle, aka "uncle boy", and several aunts and uncles. Until we meet again at the family reunion, save a dance for us as I'm sure you all are dancing in the sky.
Survivors include his daughter, Kayla and Zeke Boyles; grandsons, Kannon Bradley Boyles and Kase Matthew Boyles; granddaughters, Khylea Padem Boyles and Kaidance Ray Boyles; sister, Rita Ragland Blew; nieces, Tracy Davis Foot and Alison Tomlinson; nephew, Beau Lesley Smith; several great-nieces and nephews. He was a good friend to all who knew him and will truly be missed by many.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home. (325) 446-3076
