Fidel Sepeda

Junction Fidel M. Sepeda, Sr, 88, of Junction, passed peacefully from this life surrounded by his family at a local Junction health care center on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.

Born in Junction at the Maynard Creek Ranch on April 4, 1923, he was the son of Encarnacion and Maria Munoz Sepeda. He had been a lifelong resident of Junction.

On June 15, 1940, he married Minerva Ramos in Mason TX, a union that would last 68 years, until her passing in 2008.

He was a sheep shearer, carpenter, truck driver and an excellent handyman for 76 years.

Mr. Sepeda was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Minerva Ramos Sepeda, a son, Albert Sepeda I, a daughter, Dora Sepeda Rodriquez and a grandson, Javier Rodriquez.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his children, Fidel Sepeda, Jr and his wife, Yolanda, of Junction, Gloria Abilez and her husband, Oscar, of Junction, Albert Sepeda and his wife, Mary Jo, of Austin, Ernest Sepeda and his wife Ruth, of Junction, Leonard Sepeda and his wife, Victoria, of Austin and Beatrice Sepeda of Junction many grandchildren, great grandchildren a sister, Maria Navarro of Kerrville and nieces and nephews.

ation will be held at Kimble Funeral Home, 1010 College St, Junction on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 57PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7PM.

A mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Theresas Catholic Church, Junction, at 11AM. A committal service will follow at Northeast Junction Cemetery, Junction.

Pall bearers are Michael A. Sepeda, Summer Sepeda, Chance Sepeda, Miles Sepeda, Shane Sepeda and Walker Weaver. Honorary Pall Bearers are Donna Broyles, Oscar John Sepeda and Bianca Sepeda.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Theresas Catholic Church, Junction, TX, or the charity of ones choice.
