Everett Watson

Everett "Pete" Watson, age 95, of Junction passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at a care facility in Kerrville, Texas.

Pete was born November 8, 1920 in Dripping Springs, Texas, the son of Martin and Elmira Watson. He married Catherine Tomlinson on December 9, 1952 in Junction, Texas. Pete was a barber for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a past member of the Junction Lions Club and a veteran of WWII, having served honorably in the U.S. Army.

Pete was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Catherine Watson; daughter, Joanie Watson of Junction; two sons, John Watson and Lee Watson both of Junction; brother, Bill Watson of Wimberley, TX; and grandson, Kary Watson of College Station.

The family will hold private services at a later date.

The family request memorials in Pete's name be made to the donor's favorite charity.
