Eula Deane Leach

Eula Deane Pearl Leach, 95, went to her eternal home on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Deane was born on December 24, 1927 on the family ranch near Ivy Chapel.  She was raised in London, attended London Schools, then graduated from Junction High School in 1945.  She moved to McCamey shortly after, where she met her husband, Harold Leach.  Deane followed Harold across the oil fields, and brought three boys into the world. After retirement, Harold and Deane returned to London where they lived the rest of their years on the same land her parents raised her on. Deane enjoyed feeding her goats and donkey, Cocoa; she loved to ride around on the ranger telling stories and talking about all the things she wanted to do.  Deane was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and never missed an opportunity to talk about God.

Deane was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Hallie Pearl; sister, Loma Northcut; son, Don Leach and wife Becky; and cousin, Delton Stewart.

She is survived by two sons, James Leach and wife Susan of Denver City and Ron Leach and wife Margaret of Odessa; nine grandchildren, Lisa, BJ, Philip, Jamie, JD, Stacey, Justin, Jennifer, and Jacy; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
