Edwina Sanders

Friday, February 17, 2023, Edwina Sanders, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Junction, TX on June 27, 1943, where she remained until 1982; then moved to San Antonio. There she worked and retired from the Baptist Health System. She was a strong, independent woman who enjoyed spending time with family, reading, and crafting.

Edwina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Colette Turella, granddaughter, Davion Turella, Aunt, Pat Hunger, and numerous cousins. She is predeceased by her daughter, Vicki Sanders, and her parents, August and Nettie Bell Hunger.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Junction City Cemetery.
