Edward Evans

Junction Edward Evans, Jr., passed from this life on July 26, 2011 at Hill Country Care Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Edward was born October 28, 1928 in Junction, Texas to the late John and Alice Cohea Evans. Edward had attended school in Junction and completed his education in the Army. He married the love of his life, Lou Keith in Brady, Texas on February 2, 1951.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Lou of Junction his son, Mike Evans and wife Beth, of San Antonio his daughters, Brenda Shearer and husband Wylie, of Ingram, and Melissa Whitten and husband, Trey of Ingram four grandchildren, Jeremy Shearer and wife Lola of San Antonio, Angie Shearer of Austin, Garrett Whitten of Austin, Brittney Whitten of Ingram one great granddaughter Sophie Shearer of San Antonio along with a host of family, friends, and neighbors.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, July 30, 2011 in the Chapel of Kimble Funeral Home with Chaplain Trey McAnelly officating. Inurnment will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Fort Sam National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas with Full Military Honors.
