Edna McDonald

FREDERICKSBURG Edna Earl McDonald, 70, of Junction, TX passed from this life on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Fredericksburg, TX. Edna was born September 23, 1942 to Thomas and Dorothy Kirchman in Bronte, TX. Edna married Rogers McDonald in Junction, TX on October 21, 1959.

Edna loved playing cards and loved to listen to music, especially Elvis. She was a very strong woman, who was the Rock of her Family. There was always a smile on her face and she stood strong in her belief of Faith.

Edna is predeceased by her husband, Rogers McDonald parents, Thomas and Dorothy Kirchman brothers, George Kirchman and Tommy Kirchman sister, Dorothy Jean Timms.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Preston Lee McDonald, Sr. and Randa Domke, Thomas McDonald, John McDonald and wife Lula, Twila Leistikow and husband Arthur, Deb Pipkin and husband Bruce 12 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of loving friends and neighbors.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 5 7 PM at Kimble Funeral Home, 1010 College Street, Junction, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Kimble Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Copperas Cemetery, Roosevelt, TX.
