Eddie Joe Adams, 90, of Junction, Texas, passed from this life at Kimble Hospital surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He was born July 17, 1935, in Junction to the late Edward and Eula (Crumbley) Adams.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are daughters, Debra Adams and Jody (Adams) McFarland and Robby; grandchildren, Shaun McFarland and wife Trish and Adam Moore and wife Maria; great-grandchildren, Devon Moore and wife Peyton, Adeline and Mateo Moore, Ryker, Kade and Everleigh McFarland; his brother, David Adams and wife Garvene and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 plus years, Shirley Davis Adams and three brothers, Donald, Dicky and Bobby Adams.

Eddie Joe lived in Junction his entire life where he worked for TxDOT starting during the summers after school and continuing until his retirement 30 plus years later. He enjoyed hunting and playing golf.

Private family services will be held on Saturday, June 27, at his home.
