E. Arlene Ringer

E. Arlene Ringer, 67, of Junction passed peacefully in her home on July 25, 2020.

Arlene was born November 30, 1952 to William "Bill" and Melba Lackey.  Arlene married Larry Ringer on June 19, 1982 and he remained the love of her life until her passing.

In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a dedicated teacher for 28 years.  Upon retirement, she volunteered teaching for the LANDS program in conjunction with the Texas Wildlife Association.  Arlene was a light in many lives and will be greatly missed.

Arlene is preceded in death by her father, Bill.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Larry; son, Cody and wife Kim; step-sons, Clay and wife Sandy; Craig and wife Melanie; grandchildren, Ethan, Aubrey, Kodi, Sierra, Ashton, and Caelan.  She is also survived by her mother, Melba; brother, M. Travis Lackey and wife Jeannie; brother, Steve Lackey and wife, Kathy; sister, K. Elaine Baker and husband Doug; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Cindy, whom she loved fiercely.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Resthaven Cemetery in Brady with Rev. Gaylon Morris officiating.

Open visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home until 7:00 PM.

Memorials may be made to West Texas Rehabilitation, Kimble County Meals On Wheels, Texas Wildlife Association youth outreach programs, or the American Heart Association.
