Doris Hatch

Doris Hatch, long-time Junction resident passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 91.

Doris Mae Ruff was born April 29, 1927 in Sonora, Texas to Joe and Wintha Ruff, she grew up in Ft. McKavett, Texas. Although she moved from there she had a great love for Ft. McKavett her entire life.

Doris was well known for her love of music and dancing, that she claimed came from the "Ruff twins" of Ft. Mckavett. She was a staple of London dance hall her entire life, even up to to her last couple of years. She also loved playing cards and dominoes. She grew up hunting and fishing and loved the outdoors and was a wonderful cook.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hatch Sr., 6 sisters and 6 brothers, sons, Charles Ragland and Jerry Ragland, she is survived by her daughter Rita Blew, son, Frank L. Hatch Jr., brother, Orville Ruff, grandaughters Allison Tomlinson, Traci Foote, Kayla Hatch and grandson Beau Smith, as well as numerous great and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
