Dayn Edward Dunbar, age 43, passed away on February 22, 2017 at Kimble Hospital in Junction.

Dayn was born December 16, 1973 and grew up on the Dunbar Family Ranch in Kimble County, west of Junction. He graduated from Junction High School in 1993.
While in school, Dayn showed his fine wool and cross bred lambs. He won Reserve Champion Fine Wool at the State Fair in Dallas, and numerous other awards at other shows across the state. He made numerous friends along the way and treasured the time spent with them - so many have been to see him during his illness. Dayn loved to dance and didn't miss many dances.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Edward.

He is survived by his mother, Leola; step-dad, Donald Adams; step-brother, Scott Crites; uncle, Ivon Bowers; and many, many, cousins - too numerous to name.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, February 27, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 902 Main St., Junction with Charles Hagood and Rev. Camille Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Copperas Cemetery - 15 miles west of Junction.

Visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the David Simon Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Youth Ranch in Mountain Home, or to the charity of your choice.
