Charlotte Wyatt Rohowetz entered rest on September 15, 2025 in Hutto, Texas after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 69 years old. Charlotte Frederica Wyatt was born on November 9, 1955 to Chevis and Frederica Burt Wyatt, long-time residents of Junction Texas. Her parents preceded her in death. Charlotte met her husband, John Rohowetz, through a Christian website in July 2001, and they married October 27, 2007 at St. Teresa’s Church in Austin Texas.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John Burt and Bessie Allsup Burt, of Junction, Texas and her paternal grandparents, William Delmore Wyatt and Ruth Stevenson Wyatt. Ruth Wyatt was a long time Junction resident as well. Charlotte is also preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived her husband, John Rohowetz, and by several cousins .Charlotte graduated from Junction High School in 1974. She graduated from San Angelo State University in 1995 with a degree in General Studies. She is also a graduate of Central Texas Commercial College in Brownwood with a diploma in Computerized Accounting and Medical Terminology.
Charlotte’s early interests were in arts and crafts, and she worked for a time in that area. She ran her own business, Charlotte's Doll House, in Junction in the early 1980s. She later worked in the medical fields as a paramedic and as a telemetry technician. She retired as a telemetry technician from St. David’s Hospital System in 2018.
John and Charlotte enjoyed traveling around Texas and the USA. They loved visiting relatives in Texas and Wisconsin. They had a passion for finding new and unique cafes and local eateries. They also liked exploring museums and aquariums. They enjoyed a wide range of concerts from classic country to Andrea Bocelli. Favorite tourist spots were Branson Missouri and the Gulf Coast. John is an avid bicyclist, and they enjoyed following bicycle rides across the country. Charlotte maintained an interest in arts and crafts throughout her life and was a member of local sewing and crochet groups. Her current crochet group recently made hats for local cancer patients.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Junction with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Visitation will be held Monday 6-8:00 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7PM.
The family requests that those wishing to make a donation in Charlotte’s name do so to the American Cancer Society.
