Carl Hogg

Carl D Hogg, age 86 of Roswell, NM passed away in his sleep, Thursday morning March 29, 2018 at his home. There will be a viewing for family and friends at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Roswell, NM 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (New Mexico time) on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Junction City Cemetery in Junction, Texas.

Carl was born June 26, 1931 in Lamesa, TX to Tiney Bell and Frank John (Pete) Hogg. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Navy 5 years (1946-1951).

Carl also worked for El Paso Natural Gas Co. and retired after 25 plus years. Some of his favorite things to do was shooting, hunting, woodworking, reloading and storytelling of old family events and Tall Tales.

Carl was preceded in death by his mother Tiney (McDougal) Hogg; father, Frank Hogg; sister, Eddie Mae Woodward and brother, Cecil Hogg.

Carl is survived by his two daughters, Dianna Meyer and her husband Steven of Prosper, TX; Deborah King and her husband Kavan of Hagerman, NM; four grandchildren, Cody Meyer, Katy Meyer, Crystal King, and Justin King. Mother of their two daughters, Carolyn (Holden) Hogg. There are many family members and special friends who will greatly miss you Carl.
