Brian Newton

Brian Allen Newton, 44, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on March 6, 2018 in Junction.

Brian was born January 16, 1974 in Farmington, New Mexico to James Wade and Rhonda (Williams) Newton. The family moved to Rankin,TX on Thanksgiving Day in 1979 and he attended Rankin schools until 1991 when the family moved to San Angelo. A son, Clayton, was born January 31, 2000. Brian married Robin Zane (Hornsby) Hooper on June 28, 2014 in Junction; and he gained three step-children. He made Junction his home and affected many lives and people he came in touch with. He was a loving and avid supporter of his children and spent a lot of time at their sporting events. Brian was a creative "live wire". Fun and caring to a fault, he knew no strangers. If you knew him, you usually loved him, and if you needed help you only had to ask. Brian loved mechanical things and wanted to know how everything worked; hence, the number of scattered 'parts', around him in his younger years, that he couldn't figure out where they went. Brian loved his family, friends, and his race car, and was never happier than when he was making an engine 'purr'. Brian was always there for his niece and nephews (and their multiple friends). He was more than Uncle Bubba - he treated them as his own. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nelson D. and Mary Ann Newton and Norman L. Williams; and his beloved pet, Bo-Bo.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Robin Newton; children, Clayton Newton, Elyssa McCain, Jaden Hardesty, and Kylie Burney; his parents, James and Rhonda Newton; sister, Kasey Newton; grandmother, Elizabeth Williams; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Sarah Hornsby; niece, Jazmine Newton; nephews, Skyler Newton (Kayleigh) and Dakota Newton; great-nephews, Jax and Brandon; beloved pets, Ranger and Macy Lou; best friends, Clay Johnson and Randy and Macel Madry; favorite cousin, Laury Kay Duty; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at the First Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home. (325) 446-3076
