Bernice Williamson

Bernice Williamson was born on February 26, 1914 in Fort McKavett, Texas to John and Orpha Fish. She died on August 6, 2015 in Junction, Texas at the age of 101.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Williamson; three sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Williamson of Colorado City, and Ron Williamson of Junction; her sister, Frances Edmiston of Eldorado; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and 20 (or so!) great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bernice was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and for many years worshipped at the Cedar Hill Church. The relationships she made there gave her life much joy. Bernice was a master at many crafts; including oil painting, sewing, quilting, embroidery, and even melting glass insulators in a kiln to make them look like long-necked cats! She enjoyed fishing, cards, dominoes, and family.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Cedar Hill Church of Christ with Clyde Dukes officiating. Interment will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, prior to memorial services, at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home (325)446-3076
