Benjamin Dechert, Jr.

Benjamin W. "Bill" Dechert, Jr., 82, of Junction, Texas entered into rest on August 6, 2019 in Menard.

Bill was born May 24, 1937 to Ben and Cora (Fisher) Dechert in Menard, and grew up in Junction. Bill married Ina Guyton on November 26, 1965. He was a pipe fitter by trade, and also a rancher. Bill was an active, dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church in Junction where he attended the Men's Bible Class.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his sister, Cora; and his sister, Peggy joined him in heaven the same day, August 6, 2019.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Kim Dechert Powers and husband Lloyd; two grandsons, Drake and Jerry; numerous step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Junction City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home.
