Beatrice Miller

Beatrice Jacqueline Miller died peacefully on March 21, 2011, at the age of 89 in Junction, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Kimble Funeral Home in Junction.
Bea was born in Oklahoma in 1921, the youngest of eight children. She married Lloyd Murphy before WW II and when he went off to war, Bea worked in the factories in Rhode Island. After the war, Bea and Lloyd had three children and spent 29 years together. Later in Odessa, Texas, Bea was married to Bill Miller for another 29 years and owned several successful businesses. She spent her final years in Junction, first in her little house in town and later in the home of her daughter and soninlaw Rhonda and Ron Fuquay where they lovingly cared for her in her final years.
Bea was widely known for her love of all animals and for being a fierce champion of people in need. She was happiest when taking care of others and was richly repaid in her last few years. She was able to relax and enjoy working in the yard, watching the birds, cats and dogs and visiting with her family and her dear friend Barbara Sterling Fay.
Bea was preceded in death by her beloved mother and all her siblings. She is survived by her daughters and sonsinlaw, Rhonda and Ron Fuquay of Junction, Ricki and Larry Ratliff of Austin, and Rise and Joe Aragon of Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or Alzheimers research.
Mother, Granny, we will always love you and keep you in our hearts. Please watch over us and all our animals until we can join you and Kid.
